A modern analytics platform built to make the Pakistan Stock Exchange easier to understand — with live data, transparent indicators, and forecasts you can actually reason about.
Our mission
PSX Expert exists to level the playing field for everyday market participants in Pakistan. For too long, the kind of clean charts, computed indicators, and structured fundamentals that professionals take for granted have been locked behind expensive terminals or scattered across hard-to-read sources. We pull the official numbers together, do the heavy lifting of computing the analytics, and present everything in a fast, readable interface — so you can spend your time making decisions instead of wrangling spreadsheets.
Our guiding principle is simple: every figure on the site should be traceable, every indicator should be reproducible, and every forecast should be explainable. We would rather show you a transparent, modest signal than a black-box prediction you cannot question.

A baseline rule-engine that outputs a signal, a confidence level, target and stop levels, and a plain-language suggestion you can read and sanity-check yourself.

PSX Expert is an independent analytics publisher covering the Pakistan Stock Exchange. We are not a licensed brokerage, investment adviser or asset manager. Our editorial standards
We separate data from opinion
Market data is scraped from the official PSX portal and presented as-is. Company profiles and guides are written by our editorial desk. Model signals are computed output. Each is labelled, so you always know which of the three you are reading.
We publish our failures
Our model performance page reports out-of-sample accuracy across every prediction, including the periods the model read badly. We do not show backtests as if they were results.
We correct errors openly
If something here is wrong — a figure, a profile, a claim in a guide — tell us at support@psxexpert.com and we will fix it and say that we did. Corrections are not embarrassing; leaving errors up is.
We never sell coverage
No company can pay to appear on this site, to be profiled, to be screened favourably, or to influence a model signal. We accept no payment from any listed company, broker or promoter — and we do not publish sponsored stock tips.
How we make money
This site is free to use and funded by advertising. Ads are served by third-party networks and are marked as advertisements wherever they appear. We do not control which specific adverts you see, and an advert appearing next to an article is not an endorsement of the advertiser by us, nor of us by them.
Advertising revenue has no influence on our content. Our model signals are computed from data and nothing else; our guides say plainly when a technique does not work, including our own. If that ever changes, this page will say so. See our cookie policy for how advertising cookies are used.
Where the data comes from
All market data on PSX Expert originates from the official PSX Data Portal (dps.psx.com.pk), the authoritative source maintained by the Pakistan Stock Exchange. We collect end-of-day and intraday figures directly from this portal rather than from secondary aggregators, which keeps our numbers as close to the source of truth as possible.
Once the raw data is ingested, our pipeline cleans and normalises it, stores the historical series, and then computes every technical indicator and fundamental metric on top of that clean dataset. Indicators use standard, well-documented formulas, so a value you see here should match what you would calculate yourself from the same prices. The KSE-100 view is rebuilt from constituent market caps so it reflects the same weighting methodology used across the broad index.

Our commitment to transparency
We take a deliberately honest approach to forecasting. The forecasts on this site come from an explainable baseline rule-engine — not an opaque model that hides its reasoning. Each forecast shows the signal it produced, a confidence level, the target and stop levels it derived, and a plain-language suggestion, so you can see exactly why a given conclusion was reached and decide whether you agree.
This matters because no model can predict the future, and markets are influenced by news, sentiment, and events that no indicator captures. That is why everything here is provided for informational and educational purposes only. PSX Expert is not financial advice, and nothing on the platform should be treated as a recommendation to buy or sell any security.
