This Cookie Policy explains how PSX Expert (“we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit our website. PSX Expert is a free analytics platform that aggregates publicly available market data for the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Strictly necessary and preference cookies are first-party. Analytics and advertising cookies are set by third parties and are only used where applicable consent has been given.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on our site are placed by third parties that provide services to us. We do not control these cookies, and you should review the relevant provider’s own policies for full details.
- Google AdSense & DoubleClick DART — we display ads through Google. Google and its partners use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. - Google Analytics (if enabled) — helps us measure site usage. You can opt out across all sites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Because these cookies are set under each provider’s domain, you may also need to adjust your settings or opt-out preferences directly with the provider. Their use of cookies is governed by their privacy policies, not this one.
5. How Long Cookies Last
Cookies last for different lengths of time depending on their purpose:
- Session cookies are temporary and are deleted automatically when you close your browser. Our session and CSRF cookies are of this type.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them. For example, the cookie-consent and theme preferences typically last up to twelve (12) months, Google Analytics identifiers up to two (2) years, and Google advertising cookies generally up to thirteen (13) months, in line with Google’s retention settings.
The exact expiry of third-party cookies is determined by the provider that sets them and may change over time.
6. Managing & Disabling Cookies
You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can manage cookies in several ways:
- Using our consent banner (see Section 7) to accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies.
- Adjusting your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Most browsers also let you browse in a private or incognito mode.
- Using the third-party opt-out tools described in Section 4.

Please note that if you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the website may not work correctly. Blocking or deleting cookies may also reset your preferences and remove your recorded consent choice.
7. Consent
When you first visit PSX Expert, we display a cookie-consent banner. Strictly necessary cookies are set automatically because the site cannot function without them. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set after you give consent through the banner. By selecting “Accept”, you agree to our use of those non-essential cookies; by declining, only essential cookies will be used.
Your choice is stored in the cookie-consent cookie so we do not ask you on
every page. You can change your decision at any time by clearing your cookies or by using the controls in your
browser, after which the banner will appear again. Where required by law, we rely on your consent as the legal
basis for non-essential cookies.
8. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting that sends a signal to websites requesting that your activity not be tracked. There is currently no universally adopted industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. As a result, PSX Expert does not respond differently to DNT signals at this time. You can still control tracking using the consent banner, browser settings and opt-out tools described above. We will update this section if a recognised standard is established.
9. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, the cookies we use, or legal and regulatory requirements. When we make changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be highlighted through the consent banner or a notice on the site. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about our use of cookies.
