This Disclaimer governs your use of PSX Expert (the "Platform", "we", "us"), an analytics website for Pakistan Stock Exchange ("PSX") market data operated from Pakistan. The core Platform is free to use; optional paid plans add portfolio tools. By using the Platform you accept this Disclaimer in full; if you do not, please stop using it. Read it with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

1. General

The data, charts, indicators, fundamentals, statistics, scores, model readings, summaries and articles on the Platform are provided for general information and education only. The Platform is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan ("SECP"), the State Bank of Pakistan, MUFAP, or any listed company, broker or asset manager. Trademarks, company names and index names belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.

Nothing on the Platform creates an advisory, brokerage or other relationship between you and us beyond the limited terms in our Terms of Service. We may change, suspend or remove any content, feature or data at any time.

2. Not financial or investment advice

Nothing on the Platform is financial, investment, trading, legal, accounting or tax advice, or a recommendation, solicitation or offer to buy, sell, hold or deal in any security, fund or other instrument. No content takes account of your objectives, financial situation, risk tolerance or needs.

We are not licensed by the SECP or any other authority as a securities adviser, investment adviser, portfolio manager, research analyst or broker-dealer. Every figure, ranking, score and model reading is the same for every reader and must not be relied on as a personal recommendation. You alone are responsible for your decisions and their consequences.

3. No guarantee of accuracy, completeness or timeliness

Equity prices and index values are the end-of-day figures published by the Pakistan Stock Exchange on its data portal, collected by us after each session (with some quotes refreshed during the day); fund NAVs come from MUFAP. We do not originate this data and do not control its source. The data:

is delayed and is never a live or real-time trading feed — each market page states the session its prices come from, and the site header says "Data delayed" when our newest prices are older than the last session due;
may contain errors, omissions, gaps or duplicates, at source or in our collection and processing;
may be incomplete, out of date, or later revised or restated by its source;
may stop updating because of source changes, technical faults or maintenance.

Everything is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, timeliness or fitness for a purpose. Check any figure against official PSX sources, company filings and your broker before relying on it; the official records prevail over anything shown here.

4. Automated model readings and summaries

Some content is produced automatically by software rather than written by a person:

Model readings (sometimes labelled "AI" signals on the site) come from a statistical model — a logistic-regression classifier, or a transparent rule engine when that model is not beating its baseline — applied to historical prices and fundamentals. There is one for every listed share every session, and they are not individually reviewed by a person before they appear.
The daily market wrap is generated from the exchange's end-of-day figures. It is published with an "Automated summary — not yet reviewed" label until an editor has checked it, and any editor's note is marked as such.

Model readings are estimates of probability, not predictions of what will happen, and may be badly wrong.
The model does not read news and cannot anticipate events, corporate actions or shocks.
Its graded record is published on the model performance page against a base rate it does not always beat. Past results, back-tests and historical patterns do not guarantee future results.
No reading is a promise that any price, return or outcome will be achieved.

Treat every automated output as illustrative and educational, never as a basis for a trade on its own.

5. Investment risk

Investing in shares and other instruments involves a high degree of risk and is not suitable for everyone. Prices can fall as well as rise, and you can lose some or all of your money. PSX prices are affected by the economy, interest and exchange rates, politics, company news, liquidity, sentiment and circuit breakers.

Never invest money you cannot afford to lose.
Brokerage, taxes and other costs reduce returns.
Leverage, margin and short-term trading magnify losses as well as gains.
No strategy is guaranteed to make money or to protect against loss.

6. Do your own research and take professional advice

Do your own research before any financial decision. Read company disclosures, audited accounts and announcements published through the PSX, and consider independent advice from a SECP-licensed investment adviser, securities adviser, portfolio manager, accountant or tax adviser who can assess your circumstances. Only a licensed professional can give you personal investment advice.

7. No fiduciary relationship

Using the Platform — including a paid plan — does not create any fiduciary, advisory, agency or similar relationship. We do not monitor your portfolio, positions or the market on your behalf. We act only as a publisher of general information and a provider of software tools.

8. External links

The Platform links to third-party websites and data sources we do not control. We do not endorse or take responsibility for their content, accuracy, availability or privacy practices; using them is at your own risk and on their terms.

9. Advertising

The core Platform is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense. Ads are labelled "Advertisements", are selected and served by Google, and are not an endorsement, recommendation or verification by us of any advertiser, product, service or security. We are not responsible for the content or claims of any advert, and any dealings with an advertiser are between you and them. Advertising cookies are described in our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, PSX Expert, its owners, operators, staff, contributors and partners are not liable for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive, including lost profits, capital, opportunity, data or goodwill — arising from:

your use of, or inability to use, the Platform or any of its data, model readings or features;
reliance on any content, including any inaccuracy, error, omission or delay;
any investment, trading or financial decision made using the Platform;
any interruption, suspension or termination of the service.

Any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded is limited as set out in our Terms of Service. Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. It is governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have exclusive jurisdiction.
