Questions people ask
Is the expense manager free?
Yes. The Free plan is a complete expense manager: 5 accounts and wallets, 200 transactions a month, 5 budgets, 10 recurring bills, 2 savings goals, bill reminders by email, the udhaar tracker, net worth, the Zakat estimator and full export. No card and no trial clock. Paid plans add room and convenience, starting with Plus at Rs 299 a month.
Do you connect to my bank account?
No. Pakistan has no open banking yet, so no app can link to your bank account safely, and we will never ask for your banking password. Instead, download your statement as a CSV file from your bank or wallet app and import it: you match its columns, check every row before it is added, entries you already have are left out, and a whole import can be undone. Statement import is part of Plus, Pro and Premium.
Who can see my expenses?
Only you, and the people you invite to a book, who see that book and nothing else of yours. Our admin screens show only totals across all accounts, such as how many books exist, never anyone’s entries, payees or balances. You can download your transactions as a CSV file, or a whole book as a JSON backup, at any time on every plan.
Can I share a book with my family?
Yes. Invite your spouse or family to a book as an editor, who can add and change entries, or a viewer, who can only look. Everyone works in one ledger, and the book owner’s plan sets how many people can join: 1 person on Plus, 5 people on Pro and 10 people on Premium.
What happens to my data if I change plans?
Nothing you have recorded is ever deleted, hidden or locked. A plan’s limits only stop you adding more, such as another account or budget beyond what it includes, and reading, editing and exporting what you already have keeps working on every plan.
