What the PSX Dividend 20 measures
The PSX Dividend 20 selects twenty companies on their dividend record rather than their size, which makes it the closest thing the exchange has to an income benchmark. Constituents must have paid consistently and must clear liquidity and free-float thresholds, so it skews towards mature, cash-generative businesses — energy, fertiliser and banks — and away from growth listings that retain earnings. It is the natural starting point for screening dividend stocks on the PSX.
