What the KSE All Share measures
The KSE All Share covers every eligible listed company rather than a selected sample, which makes it the widest available reading of the Pakistani market. Because it is capitalisation weighted and unfiltered, it captures small and illiquid listings the KSE-100 leaves out — useful for judging whether a move is genuinely broad or is being carried by a handful of index heavyweights. When the All Share and the KSE-100 diverge, breadth is narrowing.
